Their goal is to identify and establish business relationships with U.S. developers and manufacturers of solar, wind, and geothermal technology interested in gaining a foothold in this burgeoning sector of the Jordanian economy.

    TRI is pleased to announce the members of its staff who have been honored with a 2009 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Merit Award under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Alisandra Johnson, CCRP; Martha Kruhm, M.S., RAC; James Murray, Ph.D.; and Yael Vinciguerra were each presented their group award for Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) Version 4 Working Group by John E. Niederhuber, M.D., Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) at the NCI Director’s Award Ceremony in the Natcher Auditorium.

    TRI is pleased to announce Barbara Hutchison, the Director of TRI’s Communications Division, has been honored with an NLM award through the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  Barbara Hutchison has been recognized in a Group Award from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in recognition of her outstanding diligence and successful effort in preparing, directing, and managing logistics for the scientific conference celebrating the 25th anniversary of GenBank.

    TRI Protocol Information Office Staff Honored with NCI Award
    TRI is pleased to announce the members of its Protocol Information Staff who have been honored with an NCI award through the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Alisandra Johnson, Martha Kruhm, M.S., RAC, and Nessa H. Zimmerman, R.N. were each presented their group award for effective collaboration with Vanderbilt University that developed process maps to analyze the protocol development process and institute improvements to shorten protocol development timelines by John E. Niederhuber, M.D., Director, National Cancer Institute.

    TRI Manages and Provides Multi-Media, Logistical, and Communications Services to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Informatics Training Conference
    TRI manages and provides multi-media, logistical, and communications services to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Informatics Training Conference held at the Natcher Conference Center on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus. The NLM supports research training in biomedical informatics at twenty educational institutions throughout the United States. These programs offer graduate education and postdoctoral research experiences in a wide range of areas including: health care informatics, bioinformatics and computational biology, clinical research translational informatics, and public health informatics. Many programs also offer additional tracks in areas such as imaging, dental, and library informatics. Each year, the NLM convenes an Informatics Training Conference to bring the participants in the informatics program together to showcase their work, to evaluate the full scope of current work in the field, and to meet their peers.

The event marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the nucleic acid sequence database, and is held at the Natcher Conference Center on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Campus.

    TRI Manages and Provides Logistical, and Communications Services to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Board of Regents (BOR) Meetings
    TRI manages and provides logistical, and communications support to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) in their pivotal role of enabling biomedical research, supporting health care, public health, and serving as the world’s preeminent medical library. The NLM Board of Regents (BOR) was established in 1956 by the same Act that created the National Library of Medicine. It serves as the advisory board to the Secretary, HHS; Assistant Secretary for Health; Director, National Institutes of Health (NIH); and the Director NLM, on all important aspects of policy regarding the Library, and is the final review advisory board providing input for NLM’s extramural grant program. The Board meets three times a year in February, May, and September.

    TRI announces successful Chilean hospital infrastructure orientation visit and new contract awards.

    Technical Resources International, Inc. (TRI) announces the successful completion of a United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) sponsored Orientation Visit (OV) for delegates representing the Chilean healthcare system. TRI was selected by USTDA to plan and host an OV for officials from the Chilean Ministry of Health, officials of public hospitals such as the Salvador-Infante Hospital Complex, a representative of the Concessions Department of the Ministry of Public Works, and a representative of the U.S. Commercial Service in Santiago. The purpose of this OV was to familiarize Chilean decision makers with U.S.expertise in hospital planning, clinical management, and administration andto inform U.S. companies of business opportunities related to Chile's HospitalInfrastructure Concession Program.

  • August-September 2005
    TRI's Health Division was recently awarded two five year contracts to support the National Institute on Drug Abuse’s (NIDA) clinical trial efforts. The first contract allows TRI to provide NIDA with clinical and data management services while the second allows us to provide NIDA with medical writing, report preparation, and project management services. These contracts are follow-ons to the work we have already been doing for NIDA over the past 6 years.

  • August 2005
    TRI's Communications Division was recently awarded a 2-5 year contract to provide Public Outreach and Education Services to Promote Montgomery County, Maryland's Integrated Waste Management Services. This contract is a follow-on to work we have already been doing for the Montgomery County Division of Solid Waste Services (DSWS) over the past 3 1/2 years where we have performed public outreach, marketing, creative, analytical, and writing tasks in support of the SORRT and TRRAC programs, and other County waste reduction and recycling efforts.
