A block of rooms has been reserved at the Portland Hilton. Transportation to the conference on the OHSU Marquam Hill campus will be provided. The Hilton is a short .3 mile walk to the Portland Art Museum, site of the NLM dinner on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

**PLEASE NOTE: the hotel consists of two buildings (Main & Executive Tower). The Main Building’s entrance is at 921 SW Sixth Avenue. Please review your reservation room type for building assignment. For your convenience, if your room assignment states EXECUTIVE TOWER, you may arrive and park there directly. The Executive Tower's entrance is located at 545 SW Taylor between 5th and 6th Avenues.

The Hilton Portland is located in the heart of downtown Portland. It has a business center, high speed internet in all guest rooms, an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, fully equipped fitness center, restaurants and lounge.

Please identify yourself as attending the National Library of Medicine at OHSU Conference to ensure that you receive this special rate. The negotiated conference rate is $145.00 for a Main Building King (single room) or $169.00 for an Executive Tower Double Double. The cut-off date for reservations is Thursday, May 21, 2009.

The Hilton Hotel suggests using Blue Star Shuttle for transportation to and from the airport.

No reservations needed if traveling between 6:50am and 12:00 midnight. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes.
The driver comes into the Hilton lobby every half hour to announce the shuttle’s departure.

Shipping of materials: Due to limited storage facilities, the hotel cannot accept large amounts of material or equipment any sooner than three (3) days prior to the meeting. Shipments arriving prior to three days before the conference may be subject to storage fees. When sending shipments to the hotel, please use the following label format:

Transportation to OHSU/Hilton

Raz Bus Schedule - two coaches at a time will take people to and from OHSU and the Hilton. Six coaches have been ordered so that there is very little wait time for our attendees as busses fill up and leave.

Tuesday, June 23rd
Buses will arrive at 5:45am at the Hilton to take people to OHSU. The first buses will leave for OHSU at 6:00am. Buses will start taking attendees from OHSU back to the Hilton at 4:30pm.
Wednesday, June 24rd
Buses will start loading at 6:30am at the Hilton and will take people up to OHSU. Buses will start taking attendees from OHSU back to the Hilton at 3:30pm.
